Dr. Hassan A. Hussein is a Senior Consultant for ATLAS Mineral Resources and is Managing Director for East Africa Center for Research, Training and Development. He is an Affiliated Researcher with Khalifa University, UAE; Technical University of Berlin, and Freiberg University, Germany and is an active member of DAAD Alumni and CEMEREM Team for German and African Academic and Research Cooperation. Dr. Hussein holds a PhD Degree in Natural Science from Technical University of Berlin; He has two Masters of Geology and Education from University of Khartoum, Sudan and from Ohio State University, USA respectively. He also earned postgraduate diploma in Natural Resources and Oil and Gas Management. His Bachelor in Geology is from Somali National University. He has +25 years of multidisciplinary experience in academia and industry. He worked for Saudi Aramco for 10 years but more than 15 years, Dr. Hussein has been working in Academia as a various ranks from Assistant Professor to Full Professor in different countries (Somalia, UAE, USA and Saudi Arabia). He published and presented more than 25 scientific papers in peer reviewed international journals (ie Scopus Journals) and proceeding conferences.
